Biography
Dr. Richard Boles is a pediatric psychologist with specialization in child behavior and nutrition. He earned his doctoral degree in clinical child psychology from the University of Kansas and completed his residency and fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Boles is a Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Nutrition and a member of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics / JFK Partners serving as Associate Director of Research. Clinically, he provides individual and group outpatient services in the Lifestyle Medicine Weight Management Clinic and Adolescent Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Center at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Boles is currently federally funded to conduct basic and patient-oriented research on pediatric obesity with specific interests in low-resource, minority populations and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
