Biography
I attended medical school at the Innsbruck Medical University and graduated in 1968. I also did my surgical residency at the same hospital, where I worked until 2004 as an attending. I moved to the US in 2005 and di a Critical Care fellowship (University of Virginia) followed by 2 years of residency (Vanderbilt) and then minimally invasive fellowship (University of Maryland). I currently work as a general and bariatric attending surgeon at Meritus health in Hagerstown, MD.
