Biography
Dr. Crisp was born and raised in Burlington, NC. He graduated from Duke University with a BS in Psychology before attending the UNC School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He completed residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and MIS Bariatric fellowship training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. His goal is to be kind, empathetic, diligent, and persistent in caring for patients while using surgery as a tool to reverse or cure conditions and improve longevity and quality of life.His interest in Bariatric and Advanced Gastrointestinal Surgery is born out of a desire to combine knowledge, surgical judgment, and technical expertise to develop a solid patient-physician relationship and achieve problem resolution for my patients.Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with my family and watching and playing sports.
