Biography

My name is Gabriel Diaz-Pagan. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am currently a fourth year General Surgery resident in UCF/HCA Florida Orlando Consortium. I completed my Biochemistry and Molecular Biology BS degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I earned my medical degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I am planning to pursue a Surgical Critical Care fellowship once I complete residency. I am actively working on multiple research projects under the Trauma/Acute care, Bariatrics and General Surgery fields. My personal interests/hobbies include weight lifting, and playing volleyball and soccer.
