Biography
I am a Research Fellow in the Surgery Department at Hartford Hospital. I bring experiences from my previous role as a Senior Research Fellow at the Endocrine Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in Iran. My research journey has primarily focused on various aspects of surgery outcomes, with a special emphasis on metabolic bariatric surgeries. During my tenure in Iran, I actively contributed to numerous impactful projects, delving into the remission of obesity-related comorbidities, comparative analyses of different bariatric procedures, and the intricacies of bone metabolism within the bariatric population. The collaborative nature of my work, particularly with the Endocrine Research Center, enriched my understanding of surgical research.Having relocated to the United States, my current role as a Research Fellow at Hartford Hospital allows me to expand my research experience further. I am actively engaged with diverse divisions within the Surgery Department, including bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, transplant surgery, and acute care surgery. This interdisciplinary approach aligns with my passion for comprehensive surgical research and provides me with an invaluable opportunity to contribute to varied domains within the field. In this dynamic research environment, I am eager to foster connections, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues across different surgical specialties.
