Biography
My name is Beatriz C. Figueroa-Diaz, born and raised in Puerto Rico, small tropical island in the Caribbean. Always had passion for science and medicine. Completed my Medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2018, and later my General Surgery Residency at the same institution, finishing my residency in 2023. I am currently a, American Board of Surgery – Board Eligible General surgeon, completing my fellowship training in Minimally Invasive and Robotic surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago. Plans for the future include returning to my island and establishing myself as a general and bariatric robotic surgeon.
