Biography

Dr. Gerardo joined the Cleveland Clinic (CCF) as a staff psychologist in the Bariatric and Metabolic Institute in January 2024. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology from CCF in 2023, a doctoral degree from Ohio State University in 2022, and a pre-doctoral internship in health psychology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Gerardo’s clinical interests include supporting management of chronic health conditions, treatment of obesity, and patient optimization for bariatric and metabolic surgery. Her research interest includes cognitive behavioral therapies to address disordered eating and internalized weight bias.
