Biography
Dr. Grimsley completed her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University, graduating summa cum laude. She then went on to medical school at The University of Maryland, where she received the Hans Wilhelmsen Award for Excellence in Surgery, as well as the David R. Gens Shock Trauma Scholarship. She is currently a General Surgery Resident at the University of South Florida, where she is completing a two-year research fellowship in big-data and machine learning. She currently studies surgical outcomes in understudied populations.
