Biography

Sang-Moon Han, MD, PhD is a director at Bariatric and Metabolic institute, Seoul Medical Center, Seoul, Korea. I completed postgraduate course at Catholic University. From 2011 to 2012, he has received 1-year clinical research fellowship training in the section of minimally invasive surgery and Bariatric institute at Cleveland Clinic Florida. I have worked as the director of insurance committee at Korean Society for Metabolic and Bariatric surgery since 2015. I also serve as an editor of the editorial committee in Annals of Surgical Treatment and Research journal since January 2015. I have published many articles regarding minimal invasive and bariatric surgery, and been honored as 16th Best Article Award, Korean Federation of Science and Technology Society in 2007. My research has been focused on laparoscopy, morbid obesity and bariatric surgery.
