Biography
My name is María Eugenia Ossola Revilla and I am from Spain. I obtained my Degree in Medicine by the Complutense University of Madrid in 2020. From the beginning I was interested in General Surgery which led me to apply for the post of internal student in 2016 at Hospital Clínico San Carlos, a post that I held from third year of medical school until my graduation. Thanks to this post I had the opportunity to discover the field of academics in which I became very interested for its potential for research and the knowledge exchange with colleagues from all over the world. I am currently in my third year of Residency at Hospital Clínico San Carlos and starting to work on my PhD in the field of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery.
