Biography

Jordan Pitman is a Specialist and Research Coordinator in the field of molecular biology at UC Davis Health. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Davis. Jordan’s passion for unraveling the intricacies of human metabolism have led him to an enriching career in academic human research at UC Davis Health. For two years, he has immersed himself in human research, contributing to studies that aim to enhance our understanding of metabolic disorders and their underlying molecular mechanisms. This work has helped to expand the understanding of interventions on metabolic comorbidities. Currently, Jordan operates in a translational setting as a Research Coordinator, blending the worlds of laboratory science with hands-on engagement of patient-oriented research. In this role, he coordinates and oversees research efforts, emphasizing the intersection of molecular biology and the burgeoning fields of personalized nutrition and medicine.
