Prof. Gerhard Prager is a worldwide known specialist in minimally invasive/bariatric surgery and Professor of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He served as the president of the International Federation of Obesity and metabolic disorders European Chapter (IFSO-EC) and is President of the International Federation of Obesity and metabolic disorders (more than 10.000 surgeons worldwide).Prof. Prager published more than 300 scientific articles, books, book chapters and abstracts.His scientific work is cited more than 11.500 times and his current H-factor is 56.He has performed himself more than 4500 bariatric/metabolic operations and more than 9000 laparoscopic operations. He trained more than 400 surgeons from all over the world and did live operations during several congresses in various continents
