Biography

Dr. Franchell Hamilton’s years of higher education started at the University of Houston Honors College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Chemistry, summa cum laude. After completing her bariatric fellowship, Dr. Hamilton went to work helping patients afflicted by their struggles with obesity. She founded NeuroSwitch Weightloss where she not only practices bariatric surgery and obesity medicine but specializes in the neuroscience and genetics behind obesity. She uses a combined approach of neurobehavioral and nutrigenomics on top of the traditional weight loss methods and have found sustainable success. Dr. Hamilton is the Medical Director for Mochi Health, an author, speaker, and course creator for providers who want to learn more about this innovative approach.
