Biography

I started my nursing career in 2005. I became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011 and worked in Inpatient Diabetes Management for 6 years before transitioning to a bariatric surgery outpatient clinic in 2017. I am a Certified Diabetes Educator and Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. I obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice in December 2023 and hope to use the knowledge gained to improve the lives of people living with obesity and decrease the prevalence of obesity and associated co-morbid conditions.
