Biography
I am Padma Vasanthakumar, a second-year medical student at Morsani College of Medicine. I graduated from the University of South Florida with my B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am originally from South India and have been living in Tampa, FL since 2011. I have been conducting clinical research evaluating the perioperative outcomes of pancreatic surgery and bariatric surgery since 2020. I am currently interested in academic medicine and aspire to pursue a career in surgery.
