Description
The goal of this course is to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the challenges that arise while treating patients with obesity, especially those who face additional obstacles in successfully navigating the path to bariatric surgery. During the course, the presenters will share effective strategies to improve access to care and outcomes for traditionally underserved populations including patients who lack financial resources, those who are non-English speakers, adolescents, and individuals who suffer from severe mental illnesses.
