The ASMBS Surgical Technique and Advanced Robotics Training (START) Program is a comprehensive non-CME educational initiative that includes faculty-led virtual didactic sessions, local mentorship by experienced bariatric robotics surgeons, and hands-on training at robotics facilities. This program is designed for fellows currently enrolled in Fellowship Council-approved bariatric fellowships. Each fellow participates in a full day of faculty-led training at a robotics facility, complemented by special didactic sessions and a culminating graduation ceremony.
