This year, the ASMBS bariatric/metabolic endoscopy course will focus on endobariatric and metabolic endoscopy procedures, emphasizing interactive discussions, didactics, and debates. We are returning to the stage of the world leaders on the field with the state-of-the-art of today and future perspectives of tomorrow. The course covers topics such as intragastric balloon placement on the new world of GLP1 analogs, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty as a new bariatric procedure, new endosuturing platforms, the fast evolution of metabolic interventions, and the beginning of magnetic anastomosis not forgetting the endoscopic solutions to bariatric surgery complications as well as its endoscopic revision. The debates will encourage critical thinking and analysis of different approaches. Didactic sessions were designed to provide comprehensive theoretical knowledge, complementing the practical training courses. Overall, the course aims to enhance participant’s skills and understanding of endoscopic bariatric procedures.
